Recently, I had the great privilege of introducing Craig Fuller, President of AOPA, to Montana backcountry flying.

Jeanne….the privilege was all mine to share a glorious day of flying in canyons and grass strips….at least you told me they were grass strips! Thanks for the adventure and the very helpful lessons. All the best, Craig

How about backcountry airstrips… with no marking, no wind socks, land uphill, takeoff downhill, some even a bit of uphill both ways, all had uneven surface to consider. Incredible training environment.

The word has crept out of Jeanne’s outstanding preparation with the goal of making Craig Fuller’s day of mountain flying as comprehensive as possible. Craig is one lucky guy! My personal plan is to fly Montana this coming July with Jeanne!
